Who is responsible

kjerneki.no is run as a private hobby project. Contact (coming): [email protected].

What the site does today

• Hosting: planned on Cloudflare Pages. HTML is served statically.
• Web Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics may be used (privacy-oriented, without cookies in the default setup). Confirmed before publish.
• Outbound links: When you follow a link via /go/…, we count the click anonymously (link slug and date). We do not store your name, email or an advertising profile for these clicks. Cloudflare processes the request to deliver the redirect.
• No accounts and no live form in this preview.

Newsletter (Kit)

The newsletter is sent via Kit (ConvertKit). Signup uses double opt-in, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Planned: suggestion form

When it opens, submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1 (a database at Cloudflare). Fields: type, title, description, optional source URL, optional email. Turnstile may be used against spam. Data is deleted or anonymised after a period set before launch.

Planned: Giscus / GitHub Discussions

Comments on plan and register pages will be stored in GitHub Discussions. That means processing in the USA under GitHub’s terms. The comment widget loads only after the reader clicks “Show comments”. No Giscus script loads by default.

Planned: Facebook group

A Facebook group may come as well. Meta’s privacy terms then apply to activity there. This website does not store Facebook posts.

Email

[email protected] is the planned contact address (coming). Email you send is processed to reply to you.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion of personal data we actually process, once the channels are active. The steps will be filled in when the contact email is live.
